Shellfishparty!!! - POSTED 16.01.09
Our annual shellfish pary will be held at the IHA institute saturday the 7th of February at 6.00 pm.
Everyone with interest for aquaqulture are most welcome! You may also bring a friend.
The fee is NOK 200, and this will also include the membership of Akvastud

Convention for the Norwegian Export Counsil in France - POSTED 09.07.08
Upon a request from the Norwegian Export Counsil for fish in France to Akvastud,
some of the Akvastud's members made a variety of posters for the convention
(11th - 14th of july in Brest, France). The goal was to make a pedagogic overview over
the norwegian aquaculture from A to Z, aswell as focusing on the small visual impact the
modern farming has on the enviroment. T achieve this, a landscape model was made.

Study trip to Kyrksaeterteroera, Tronderlag - POSTED 22.04.08
Akvastud's studytrip this year went to the area of Hemne in Tr0ndelag, Norway.
The goal of the studytrip was to give the students a pratical experience within the
aquaculture industry.We had an exiting and interesting trip that gave us a relevant
approach to the industry. Vitis to both Aqua Gen and Leroy gave us a broad
perspective of the salmon production cyclus.

Akerdagen- POSTED 03.04.08
Akvastud was invited to the Akerdagen 2008 by Aker Biomarine.
The visit to Akerdagen gave us an interesting perspective in the future
of sustainable aquaculture. It was interesting to hear about Aker Biomarine's
krill meal and krill oil products for aquaculture and animal feed markets.
